Idk why we don’t want Israel handling this and finishing the job. If they are willing then by all means. Fewer American lives at risk. Give them weapons. It’s just money.

Because they can’t. If they could, they’d have done it.
The IDF is far less capable than people here give it credit for. Their defensive systems are top notch, by necessity. Their Air Force is provided by American defense contractors.
Their ground forces however are largely conscripts using shitty equipment that is barely a level above the conventional forces of their neighbors and sophisticated groups like Hezbollah.
Imagine your local police force fighting a battle against radical Muslims. That’s the average IDF soldier.

Every Friday Iran says they are about to sign a deal.
Every Sunday night or Monday morning Iran says no deal.
Hasn’t Trump figured out the pattern. Has he lost his balls?

I think there is a lot of truth to the theory that the rescue mission for the missing pilot scared the piss out of Trump and now he’s a coward. That was really the first thing that has gone wrong in any of his bold military actions during either term.

There's probably a lot of factors at play. That situation, the loss of equipment in that operation, munitions may be running lower than anyone would like to admit, introduction of Chinese/Russian technology into the battlefield (possibly leading to the downing of the F-15), etc.

I think at this point he’s just hoping nothing major will happen until the blockade leads to total economic collapse. The administration doesn’t seem concerned about any economic hardship incurred here and he would much rather our attention be on the White House renovations and then World Cup / UFC / USA 250 celebrations over the next month than anything going on in Iran

If that’s the plan is a total disaster of a plan.
The only thing that will be discussed all summer is expensive gas.
Trump and FIFA have ensured that America 250 and the World Cup are on the back burner, respectively. The former from political obnoxiousness and the later from ticket prices.

Kinda how I feel. The administration seems content to live with $90-$100 oil and $4 gas. It’s not great but it’s not crippling like $135 and $5.50 - $6.
