Agreed. As someone who loves Trump it’s a pathetic public stance. How can you possibly be on the side of letting an ally be attacked without a reciprocal (or harsher) response?
My only suspicion is that it’s a lie to appease US citizens and the administration is telling Israel to go forward in private. I doubt it, though.

I hope Israel says frick off and starts finishing the regime. Trump's obsession with making a deal has neutered him. He keeps treating this like a board room negotiation or a land sale, and that approach just wont work here. These people have zero common ground to build a deal around, but he just wont quit trying.
