This feels like 2004. First convention since then that GOP has true momentum and good bench of speakers.

It is also the first time since 1988 the Republican candidate is leading going into the event.

Only critique is that Lara shouldn’t have been the closer but she’s doing just fine.
Should’ve spoke about 4 speakers ago.

She's humanizing him to those they have been brainwashed to think he's inhumane.

Lara Trump being the final speaker of the night was a weak choice. It's a perfectly fine speech and intended to be humanizing but it's just average.

Lara’s doing just fine, but she needed to be in the 8:00 hour and needed to be a few minute shorter.

Absolutely. As I said, it's a perfectly fine speech. I have no objection to the content or delivery it's just average and not "keynote" worthy.

Ben Carson the OG Trump supporter

Ben is my absolute favorite. Too kind for politics, unfortunately. But a great man

Ben Carson is the wise man Trump should keep close by, he isn't a great politician but he's very likable and his discernment and decision making skills are going to be needed in Trump's 2nd term.
