Trump is going to absolutely kill it. You can just tell.
This is HIS moment. Everyone’s gonna be watching and he really can unite us. That it’s gonna take ALL of us to make America great again

Marco making me proud as hell to be a fellow Latino Republican.
Can't wait for all those illegals that were let in to turn out to be Republicans. Will be an all time back fire from the Dems

Have been watching conventions a long time. Have to agree. Can’t think of a better night.

Watching the 2004 convention in my dorm in Kirby Smith when they pulled out flip flops when talking about John Kerry was incredible.

I think he had some novocaine recently. Can’t feel his bottom lip apparently.

Damn Lara looks older than she did in 2016

Considering your love for Nikki Haley, the Neocons speaking in 2004 probably made you orgasm

Zell Miller (GA-D) was a hell of a keynote speaker. The spitballs line was my favorite.

All the downvotes...I bet five people in here even recall it.

I agree with rpg's statement about it being in 2004 - at least in my memory. The night Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke was incredible. The night before him Zell Miller was throwing bombs against Kerry. That was an incredible convention although it was the first one of my voting life.

Nobody will ever top Miller.
This feels like 2004. First convention since then that GOP has true momentum and good bench of speakers.

The Reagan speech in 1988 is one of my favorites.

Reagan was so good in 76 that many delegates thought they nominated the wrong man. I loved him, also, in 92 giving the line of, "Clinton says he's the new Thomas Jefferson. Well, let me tell you something, I knew Thomas Jefferson. He was a friend of mine - and Governor - your're no Thomas Jefferson."
It was one of his final public speeches. Of course, Bush lost, but this was a great play on words off the heels of Bentson-Quayle in the 88 VP debate.

Only critique is that Lara shouldn’t have been the closer but she’s doing just fine.
