Appropriate response. It's a shame a lot of morons called for a premature boycott.

We must have a national divorce. There is no reconciliation to be had with these demons.

No. It isn't a shame.

Office Depot hired those fruit baskets. It's a virtual certainty this is nowhere near the first time they were partisan and inappropriate as store employees. IMO Office Depot would have given this zero attention without the pressure. It's a new day.

They addressed the matter within hours on a Friday night. I'd call that a swift response.

As for hiring them, who do you think is available to run print stations? They can't know how someone is going to respond to every situation. They dealt with this swiftly and accordingly. Within hours. But that's not good enough for jokers like you.

The fact your post inserts a bunch of conjecture is telling.

That's exactly what happened here.

Exactly what I am all for. The government shouldn't step in. Let the market decide if they should stay in business

When corporate found out, they took the least action they could take and try to make the fans of the turned away customers calm. They only fired one of the two employees. I don't think they really care but they've done enough to put out the fire it seems.

They don't want to set the precedent.

If you want to pick and choose, open your own print shop.

I meant Office Depot didn't want to set the precedent. Otherwise they'd be inviting similar incidents all over the country and all over the political map.

In the case of these individuals all it would take is just one look.
