Office Depot did the right thing. When you hire service employees, you are going to get some fruitcakes. They addressed it, it's over, and there is no reason to hold a grudge against them

In the case of these individuals all it would take is just one look.

Yeah I'm sure they were vetted by the OD big whigs. The video was posted by Libs of Tik Tok and within two to three hours the issue was dealt with, on a Friday night no less. The perpetually online pitchfork posse have no leg to stand on here.

Have to admit, for this being a Friday night they responded pretty fast. They don’t want to lose what little costumers they have.

Thing is, for that idiot to be so brazen about rejecting the job and how she went about it - tells me that attitude is baked into their work culture.

Unless OD does a top to bottom purge and retraining those type people are still embedded in their stores.

But I will give them kudos for quick action given its Fri night. Tempered by the fact OD leaders saw what just happened to Cracker Barrel and only did it to save their own jobs not because it was the right thing to do.

The tide is turning in America. Charlie Kirk was a national treasure and they took him away from us. People are at their limits with the bullshite. And corporate America knows it and has to undo a lot of DEI hiring and bullshite to be viable.

I know that libs of TikTok is keeping receipts, but it would nice to have a thread here with just vids from various social media platforms instead of multiple threads about single events.

The actions of a couple of lower level employees doesn't tell you shite. Instead of grasping for straws why not just look at the actions of the OD brass and let that be that?

The fact your post inserts a bunch of conjecture is telling.
Meh. Life is all about evidence-based conjecture. The fact you think, based on the matter-of-fact partisan behavior evident in that video, that this was a one-off is actually far more telling.

Adds up but right to refuse service is for all.

Who was refusing service? The employees, or Office Depot policy?

Where did I state that? But even if it wasn't, what evidence do you have any such incidents rose to the level of corporate or even upper management?

I guess we've moved from conjecture to making shite up, eh, doc?
