Pelosi isn't blocking trump. She rescinded the invitation.
Its like uninviting your friend to a party, just so happens to hurt trump's ego. In turn this hurts your ego.

Why not just say "state of the union". The overuse of acronyms on this site is annoying and confusing.

She can prevent the President from holding his address in the House chambers. Just like he can keep her from having an address in the Oval Office.

Makes sense. I guess its just a pet peeve for me when the term being abbreviated is not commonly used. It's especially annoying when reading Tiger Rant and coaches names are abbrievated CLM CEO CUM CNS... I always have to stop and think who the hell are they talking about.

I truly hope the SotU is indeed held in front of the House. I want the whole g@ddamn country to see, live, how absurd, disrespectful and petty the leftists will react in real time. SotU happening from the oval office is absolutely best case scenario for the libtards because they're going to spin it to make it look like TRUMP was the petty one who refused to do a traditional SotU.

How can she stop/prevent him? I understand she can "rescind" the invitation, but couldn't the minority party host him? There is a big difference between the house (where I can walk into any day I please) and the Whitehouse as far as access goes.
What stops Trump from having the minority leader call a meeting for all interested on the scheduled night of the SOTU?
