Special Forces would be Army Green Berets. 100% chance they have been there training Ukraine. I imagine they are now out of country.

No idea. But it seems with some help the Ukrainians can push back against this. Maybe we have advisers there. I can tell from FlightRadar24 we have fighter jets moving along the Ukraine/Romania in Romanian airspace because we have two tankers circling in that airspace.
Edit: We also have a tanker circling in Polish airspace just to the west of Ukraine.
