Again, I don't give a shite about the differences or lack thereof between the weapons and defer to the largest firearms sellers in the country to decide which fit their definition of suitable for sale.
So the largest firearms sellers should get to dictate what guns are sold in America?

Already done. Pages 10-30.
Except...you didn't.
Which is why I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt to list them in addition to your AR-15 ban.
Shouldn't be hard.

I have yet to use that word incorrectly.
It's all you've done. I even offered to explain it to you. Odd that you passed.

I'm not sure why you're still harping on this, since you've been shown a dictionary definition that says you're wrong here.
You posted a copy/paste job from fricking Wikipedia.

Little else? Damn, girl.
Ban something that can be replaced with a belt loop or rubber band? Damn, girl.

Seriously, the level of incompetence of this board on basic things like "search terms" will never cease to amaze me.
How do you idiots get through a day if you can't find information you want?!

Your city has a median income of $169, 176 and a median home price of $1,065,800.
Even you're not too dumb to make the necessary leap, champ.

That John Lott has done work on DGUs is incredibly important - more so when you realize that he faked his data and other studies demonstrate that the true rate is much lower.
Yep, I just double checked, and Lott is still published by the University of Chicago.
Man someone needs to inform them that they are publishing the works of someone who fakes data.
Again, WHY did the CDC include this work and not some sort of notice to the reader that Lott's work has been discredited. Why include it at all, if it's not useful?

Who's dictating? I thought you guys were all about free enterprise and shite?

And what do you think that means?

Because it's incredibly useful to know that someone's already done work on DGUs and people following up on his work found the numbers to be truthfully much lower when they did it without a biased agenda.

Thanks!
Now...shall we begin?
quote:
Repealing the Dickey Amendment to allow for funded studys to better understand the most effective ways to reduce gun violence in the US
Well this doesn't really do anything to reduce gun violence now does it>
quote:
Universal background checks
We have this.

including private sellers
So you're not for compromise I take it?
quote:
, with removal of shall-issue laws for delays
What's wrong with shall issue laws?
quote:
Comprehensive mandatory registration for all new purchases, in a central searchable database
Infringement on the 2nd. And a pretty blatant one.
quote:
Stricter penalties for straw purchasers
This means what exactly?
quote:
Raise the age for non-hunting rifles to 21, to match handguns
What makes a hunting rifle a hunting rifle? Details please.
quote:
Minimum 3-day waiting period (maybe longer, not sure if there's a good break point data show as better for cooling-off periods)
What impact would this have had on any of the previous mass shootings?
quote:
Passage of Red Flag laws or GVRO's
Ditto.
quote:
Ban on certain types of weapons overwhelmingly used in mass casualty events and little else - e.g. AR-15s
So why are Mini-14s good, but AR-15s not?
quote:
Ban on things like bump stocks used to circumvent existing laws limiting power and rate of fire
And if I can do the exact same thing using rubber bands and a youtube video?
But I'll let you ignore all of the above if you can explain why an AR-15 should be banned, but a Mini-14 is ok to own.

Spent a lot of time in Scientology school, did you?

In classifying them..for sale. Sure.
You guys are on a thin branch when you say the largest seller of firearms by volume in the US can't be relied on to properly classify said firearms.
