I think this went to court (unless it was an internet hoax) but what I recall, hoax or not, was the judge saying it was communication and covered under the 1st Amendment. I don't recall which state it went to court in though.

how is that comparable to communicating something you actually saw in public?

Exactly.

Falsely yelling FIRE is the problem. If the fire is real it's OK.

Buzzed driving is drunk driving.

Compelling reason to stop drivers who are driving drunk or impaired. Don’t like it, don’t drive. You don’t have a constitutional right to drive on the roads.

There's a good little statist. You're no better than the proggies. Two sides of the same authoritarian coin.

Waze has been around for literally 13 years. Google now owns it. It took them 13 years to "become aware" This is our government people

Let's see what happens in NYPD vs Google.

Hey-- I have constitutional right to assist drunks in carnage and death. Says so right there in the Bill of Rights

You completely ignore the fact that someone could use the Waze app not to warn drunk friends about a checkpoint, but to give them a heads up about a traffic back-up. I can't see how anyone who talks about limiting government could support this blanket policy. This is a socialist's dream.

Right. It's one thing to inconvenience guilty people, it's another to inconvenience people who have done nothing wrong.

I've got to where I get nervous if a cops behind me and I'm 100% in compliance.

Cops make me nervous, generality, even my cop friends. I also hate it when a cop is behind me in a vehicle. They distract the shite out of me,
