Was driving I12 in Louisiana last week and noticed some local sheriffs have figured out a way to immediately untag themselves in Waze. Not sure how they’re doing that because you typically have to be approaching a cop to have the option to remove one that’s “not there”.

Even if we pretend they start with good intentions, they ALWAYS, 100% of the time, devolve into a method for doing shite that otherwise would not be allowed by the citizens.
Remember when civil libertarians went nuts over wiretapping US citizens using secret FISA courts to root out terrorism? I thought they acted a little crazy.
Well, we just had a dem candidate write a fan fiction piece, give to fbi, who then weaponized the FISA system to spy on a US citizen who also happened to be the GOP nominee. This is 3rd world shite. I can’t believe how passively we’ve accepted such an abuse of power

here is the problem, and it specifically applies to Trumpkins
your logic above is correct. the problem is it's often isolated to just that example (b/c that example likely has hurt Trump) and it ignores the bigger picture. this FISA abuse should be a wakeup call to Republicans to all state power (federal, state, and local)

I don’t get your point. You think the only reason I, or Trumpers in general, care about FISA abuse is because it hurt Trump? Cause if that is your point you are way off base. I don’t know a living person who adheres to that description. When the entire Dem party in VA is black faced- I don’t suddenly agree with SJW’s on the blackface issue....but I do I love the bitter irony of it all.

Much like trump should be a wake up call for dems on the abuse of executive power but it won’t be.

Oh. I completely get that now that we've decided this is acceptable, it will be used again......in the future...…..against who knows who. There are no limits to it.

Of course but this isn't actually a rebuttal.
You see. In a half decent free nations, cops should be RESPONDING to citizen needs as their only reason for interacting with citizens. Police forces should NOT be proactively engaging with citizens absent a compelling reason. Pretty much the whole point of the 4th.

Truth
It creates a way to get you into the system. It's not about public safety, it's about getting as many people as possible legally under the thumb.

Compelling reason to stop drivers who are driving drunk or impaired. Don’t like it, don’t drive. You don’t have a constitutional right to drive on the roads.

Sure and I can shout "FIRE" in a crowded theater too, right?

how is that comparable to communicating something you actually saw in public?
how is that comparable to amplifying comments made by the police/state about the checkpoint?
your argument is that if you actually see fire in a theater and you calmly tell people that there is a fire, it should be illegal b/c people may make up a fake fire and use that lie to create havoc. how irrational can you be?

They aren't just pulling over drunks, hence the problem.
