Because there’s no pleading the 5th in civil litigation.

Everything is on the record and can be used later to prosecute.

Trump has all that vacant land on the west side of MAL with access to the ICW. He should build a marina there and it would probably add $250 to $500 million in value to his MAL property.

There are $20 million houses for sale in Houston and Atlanta. I seriously doubt Mar-a-Lago is only worth $75 million.

The 8000 sq foot house on a postage stamp size lot next door to MAL is listed at $59 million on Zillow.

Who knew valuing real estate in Florida would fall under any jurisdiction in New York

Lmao. They must've found an appraiser who has a bad case of tds. I'm sure the people in that area who are trying to sell their property are loving how NY is trying to vastly reduce the value of their properties. If something as grand as mal is only worth 75m, then the property for sale across the street is probably only worth 2m, opposed to the 63m it's listed at.

How does Florida do assessments on property?

Here in MS, the Tax assessor valuation of the property in the courthouse is considerable less than what property is worth.

If someone came to my house and offered me what the tax assessor has it valued at… I would inform them that would buy the driveway and the fence around the rear of the home. They do that to keep property taxes reasonable.

If Florida does the same thing… and the NY AG just ran on the county assessor’s site for the valuation.. she is one very dumb ho.

I would compare the properties in every way I could think of that is relevant.

I am a regular person, and I’d do the best I can.

AMAZING question. Thanks.

Sounds like an end-run around the 5th Amendment. Not sure a judge would allow that.

Politicians over estimate values of bill’s they want passed all the time. I mean majorly.

In money saved and money spent, the very last bill was called an inflation help bill and did nothing at all to address inflation.

That’s about what I expected. You would be retarded.

You want some comps for a Frank Lloyd Wright house? Maybe the Statue of Liberty?

This must be the most ridiculous in a long line of ridiculous attempts to go after the cheeto. Honestly our entire country is a complete dumpster fire and this is what elected officials are spending taxpayers money on? I swear some days it just isn't worth chewing through the restraints
