Yes the property is in FL but she is saying that he overvalued it while doing business in NY

Doing business with who in New York? Was the money borrowed from a bank headquartered in NY? None of us know that, she didn't provide that detail. I'm assuming you mean Trump's business was based in NY at the time? My understanding is they were looking into his Duetsche Bank loans which are not even US based.

Attorney General James is seeking to permanently bar the Trump family from conducting business in New York and $250 million in penalties.

Hank and Boosie informed that all 250 million lawsuits are almost always settled for 5k.

So Trump has that in his favor.

This is the equivalent of a local DA arresting me because i went to a pawn shop and said my Rolex was worth $1000 so lend me $500 and the DA pounces on me because she thinks watch is worth $300 .... its mind blowing

Meanwhile NYC is overrun with violent crime daily

If that is the case....Mar-a-Lago is 20 acres....just the land would be worth $1.3B

thats when the lawsuit comes in and claims he is underreporting his tax burden.

Isn't it the loaning institution's responsibility to investigate and evaluate the worth of the collateral or property in this case.

The value of the property is actually close to zero considering it will be under water by 2030

And were are the banks in all this? They are the harmed party. Not the state of New York unless New York secured the loans on false information.

There is a home right across the street from Mar list right now for 59 million. Mar is 20 times bigger in lot and square footage. This is laughable

For a graphic comparison look at the two here from the same map.

Is there not a county accessor that sets the value of property? Like everywhere ? Banks require a appraisal of any property considered for loans?

Does it even matter what its worth if he's in good standing with the bank? Shouldn't they be filing this?

She also said he received "benefits" from insurance.

Unless he did a syrian order (in Trinidad speak that means arson) on a hotel, how the heck does he benefit financially from overvaluing a property and then having to pay the premiums on an inflated value????

I don’t get it, someone explain why someone would overvalue a property when they would owe more taxes? I’ve heard of undervaluing to pay less, but overvalue? Hmmm… Got to be some play that I’m not seeing, as I don’t think they we trying to sell, and even then it’s not a crime to ask more than something’s worth… what’s the angle these guys are going for???

This is quite a shocking claim. Who knew this was how to trick the insurance companies.
