It is a pretty mind blowingly stupid take. I only see her posts here on the politics board. I can only imagine her hot takes on the other boards and in real life.

Your take on AI is so criminally stupid, you deserve zero time from someone to "argue" with you. Seriously, you need to help yourself on this one. I already explained AI to a 4 year old this week.

First step is understanding that your free AI LLMs are hardly scratching the surface. If you lived in grown up land, you'd be embarrassed right now.

Best of luck.

Who is he implying said “china hawk”?

Huang believes any American who sees China as a national security threat and is a proponent of bringing back US manufacturing and industrial production to the US from China is a China Hawk.

Street level Americans who showed great concern +30 years ago over the US off shoring US manufacturing and industrial production to China were assured by the US Corporatocracy that China is our friend and ally. The intelligentsia told the American people China will eventually become a Western democracy if we build them up both economically and militarily.

The freemium model. As the product grows more popular users will start seeing much less free and more stuff less free. Business 101.

I would love to know what you think you explained to a preschooler about a language calculator. Please explain it to me. This should be good.

Yes. Grown up land. Where LLMs are innovative. Tell me more.

AI has been tremendously oversold and overhyped. The bubble is bursting.

The AI, automation and robotics revolution is just ramping up. You're going to be astounded if not shocked where this technology is taking society on a global scale over the next several decades.

Had you clicked on the link I provided, you might be "less dumb?" You can lead a horse to water but if they aren't thirsty...

I charge $450 an hour to explain AI to ignorants. For you, I'll do $550. Let me know where to send the SOW and we'll set up a time for me to try and educate you.

It’s ok. Your 4 year old customers are a more suitable audience than I am. I’m sure you agree.

Sure. Unless people don't see enough value to pay for it

I use copilot at work sometimes but I wouldn't pay for it

To the 4 year old. If AI sees the word "dumb". It takes existing information to give you options for words that can be used in its place, like poopyhead, dum-dum or 4cubbies.

Yet.

I also remember people saying they would never pay for microtransactions in video games or mobile games. Now most games have them. In some cases like Madden and FIFA, they make more profit off these transactions than the actual game. Heck, they even release games days early for a higher price, tossing in a few little incentives like digital money to buy fee stuff like cosmetic items that used to be in the game for free.

Everybody is already paying for the use of AI whether they know it or not. The web of serivce providers, vendors, governance entities that are pouring millions and millions into AI is vast. Saying people won't be using AI is like saying nobody will be using cloud computing 20 years ago. You literally don't have a choice.

That is true but let us not forget the time when the internet was a fad. What did the companies do to gain Marketshare?

Yep. The consumer side will do its thing. The commercial side is already deep into its thing.

I'm a little surprised at how many people still believe their occupations are not going to be noticeably affected by AI, automation and robotics.
