At 4:00 pm CT, it is 5:30 AM in NK.

April 25th is a very special day in NK.

They usually test nukes between 9 and 11:30 AM PYT.

HailHailtoMichigan I don't know you and obviously new, but given your "put the money down" on La Pen coming in third, you're making me nervous this time.

Once you follow these things long enough (keeping up with forums like Poli helps a lot) you begin to get a better feel for whether some things are more or less likely to happen.

Kim Jong-il was as crazy as a lab rat but he knew China was his protector. As long as he adhered to their "advice" he could rattle all the sabers he wanted.

Lil' Kim is just a fricknut. He believes that having at least a low-level nuke (IF he truly has one, I am still doubtful) puts him in the same power-hitting league as China, the US and Russia. At the same time he's facing growing internal unrest as access to technology is showing his people how he and his family have been 1984'ing the country for generations.

This access to the truth of the world is a threat he can't just brutalize away, but since he knows no other way he just keeps plugging away at what's always worked.

These two aspects combine to create a mindset that not only makes him believe he's stronger than he is but it drives him to prove so to himself, the rest of the government leaders and the world.

My guess is that if something happens it's going to be because we shoot down one of their "test" missiles. This week will tell the tale though because either he will do something now and condemn his country (and thus his rule) or he will back away and look impotent to his military. Neither are acceptable to him.

Pence cut his trip short, Trump met with Haley and 5 key UN members, called Xi and Abe Sunday night, and now he's meeting with 100 senators at once... at the white house. The meeting be ing at the white house alone is out of the norm.

I agree with your assessment Bard. I was just joking with HHTM Bc his predictions seem the opposite of reality according to the board and the one I've personally seen.

I'm pretty sure the reason their missiles have "failed" all along is because we have sabotaged them with our technology. If you've seen "Zero Days" you'd know what I'm talking about.

I'm going to invest in the zombie lawn mowing business. They keep those lawns looking nice during the apocalypse.
