Acknowledge defeat and remove all our military installations from the region-- our troops are just sitting ducks. Bring em back home

We're not going to do that

We might try to find a way to put a spin on it and exit in a way where we can save face. That's probably the best outcome at this point.

I've yet to see anyone really offer much of a personal view on the best path forward.....trust the plan I guess.

Do you usually make posts when these same units are always deployed and in the same areas? Do some of you think the military just sits on US bases when there’s not a conflict? The overall goal of the military is to eliminate enemies and protect safety for us and our partners 24/7 365.

Explain how we are defeated or anywhere near that because of this? We haven’t even put boots on the ground you schmuck.

Correct. Which is precisely why this mission backfired in the worst way possible.

It’s natural to have a rally around the flag moment when bombs are falling on schools.

Here's the lesson that the US has refused to learn since WWII.

When you decide to smack someone in the mouth you better be ready kick them in the baby makers, gouge their eyes out and cut out their tongue....and if they still want some more you stomp on their neck until they drown in their own blood.

If you're not willing to do this^^^ ....be careful who you smack.

Total and absolute blockade of Iran by land, air and sea, including all ports on Iran's norther sea shore that connects to Russian ports.

We must mine all of those ports on the northern shore and sink every thing that tries to sail to or from those Iranian ports.

BS. They put up a facade of strength. They got their asses kicked, hundreds of leaders killed, the one that is supposedly still around severely injured. They lost their military except for a few items left that can cause isolated harm.

They are like the bully that got his arse kicked and 2 days later is talking trash.

I bet we see strategic military attacks to take out remaining weapons as they expose themselves. Severe sanctions. The Strait stabilized and a massive push to build pipelines in Saudi and Iraq to eliminate as much need for the strait as possible. Of course that takes time but the world knows it’s needed now.

Iran has been struck a major blow and now the players in the area will coalesce to further diminish their significance.

He’s too busy trying to draw a distinction between his asinine position that Iran would bring the global economy to its knees vs. his asinine position Iran could bring the global economy to its knees

If our goal in the region is to protect our partners (the GCC nations) and our attack on Iran leads to them incurring damage they wouldn't have otherwise incurred then our ability to protect our partners is brought into question. We put the partners we were supposed to protect in the line of fire.

You seem to have a good grasp of the situation. How long do you think before the US can get a satisfactory outcome?

Didn't say it would happen, said it's a possibility.

I basically said this two months ago and then the US quit bombing and took the pressure off.

Correct.

And it still is a possibility. Hopefully cooler heads prevail.

as of today many military strategists could make a solid argument that Iran has indeed won this military conflict.

You and your fellow Reddit retards are not even close to any kind of strategists.
