I disagree but I can see where you are coming from. Although, I think that if this somehow steers the conversation towards judicial philosophy tomorrow it just shows how intelligent and qualified she is to be a Supreme Court Justice and is worth the risk. That is helpful for the Republicans that will vote to confirm her and hurt the Democrats who will vote against her confirmation.

George Soros wrote, as I recall, a good part of a book strongly denouncing me for supporting the war in Iraq, so I have no particular stake in defending him. But I will make the obvious point that George Soros is a heck of a lot more impressive an American than Marsha Blackburn.
