Of course they’re not. So why must they be treated any differently? As if they can’t succeed on their own merits.

It's not that they can't survive, they can, for damn sure. The purpose would be, to increase interest among Black Kids, and get them out onto the farms and forests where they may catch an interest in other things besides Urban Culture. Away from the dead ends. Those programs would be about promoting interest, not giving extra help to the guys who are already doing it.

If we are going to be subsidizing programs, do we really need to keep building more basketball courts and doing the same old thing?
If we could get urban kids interested in coming out to the farms, we don't need migrants. The Country could take a whole new direction.

That's fine if you see it that way I guess, but you know, this farming stuff (food supply) has to be organized and kept on a constant keel. It's not something we can leave to chance.

We need to be back on a commodities program, instead of the food stamp/ebt crap.

So one day you woke up and said to yourself" This life is too easy, I don't like being associated with a successful farming operation, because of subsidies. Yeah, I can see that.

What a strange concept.
How do your Father and Brother feel about being labeled welfare queens?

In addition, you didn’t explain your statement....no one doing any real work uses Deere......

If you’re so offended by all these farmer welfare queens, maybe you should try feeding yourself for awhile.

Check back and give us your results.

Someone should inform John Deere that almost all their revenue is generated by white farm owners

Get your fat arse off the tractor....

I’m not sure in all my years here, I’ve ever seen someone come off as such a total POS.

Today alone I spent an hour unclogging a grain bin. Probably around 130 degrees in there. Delivered and coupled 12 tanks of Anhydrous. Repaired a flat on the seed tinder. Delivered and loaded around 5,000 pounds of bean seed. Helped unclog the heads on two combines with massive fescue. Winterized one planter. Cleaned and detailed two tractors. Filled and delivered fuel to multiple tractors, track hoes and combines and picked up parts.

Amazing how I did all that by pushing a button. You sir, are a fool with a bone to grind. To continue this I would need to know your age and where you gathered your immense farming experience.

What product does "a getto welfare queen" produce besides more mouths that a farmer feeds?

I know this money goes to all these foundations but what does this money actually do?

What does it really go to?

How do you think the black people ended up in the cities? answer: They moved there. That's where they want to be. Giving them an education will not entice the younger ones to move back.

"if", "could", etc. will not fix anything.

1930s - white kids started moving from farms to city. Easier jobs with more pay.
mid 1960s - black people started moving to cities. Better pay and easier work.
1970s - white flight to suburbs. Black people happily moved into housing left by whites.

Do you honestly think throwing a few bucks at a few black schools is going to reverse any of this.

We have migrants. Nobody is sending them home. They are going to work for less, the government is going to take care of their needs and urban kids have absolutely no reason to leave their current situations for work on the farm.

Don't fool yourself. There will be no "whole new direction" for this country. Deere is virtue signaling and wasting their money.

They're just paying the grifters off and the money will go to the pockets of the race baiters to make more trouble.

They should have done something to help farmers.
