Not many will admit it, but there’s one main reason our country and society is collapsing

And that reason is we as a society turned our backs on God. Despite revisionist lies, our Constitutional Republic was founded on Christian values and meant to govern People who hold Christian values. Until the mid-20th century more or less we followed this formula and our country prospered more than any country in the history of mankind. This changed in the mid-20th century with the rise of “The New Left”. As this cancerous movement spread and grew, our society degraded more and more to where now our country has been all but torn apart. We have done this to ourselves. We turned our backs on God so now he’s left us to our own devices and degradations. We deserve the collapse we’ve brought upon ourselves.

Yes, unfortunately so. Taking prayer and God out of our school system directly correlated to the downward path of leftist ideaology and indoctrination in the public schools and universities. II Chronicles 7:14 is the only solution.

Yep. The destruction of the nuclear family and all that has come with it has completed destroyed the country and society. The dems started this over 50 years ago, and the fruit of that effort is now what we are experiencing.

Yep! The ACLU and Madalyn O'Hair had all references and recognition of God removed from public schools in the late 60's to early 70's.

It was a lie then and is today. Over 80% of abortions are because one uses it as birth control and not for any other reason.

Yeah...I'm not the problem here. Much like being called a racist by the left because I'm not on board with Critical Race Theory, I'm just not gonna' be labeled as the reason for the moral decay of America because I do not believe in gods.
This is the best way to force out those of us who consider ourselves secular conservatives, of which there are quite a few even on THIS board, which ought to tell you something.

I couldn't agree more strongly. I'm sure you will get a mixed bag of support and scorn for this thread but when you remove God and his place in the importance of our traditional American values the whole thing comes apart. "In God we trust" and "Under God" were not intended to be optional.

This is about society at large/in general not about you. Do you want to live in a society where no one believes in God? If so, I think you should give it more thought.

This is bigger than you. An individual can maintain a moral life by depending on the vestigial tail of religion and morality you take for granted. A society has a great deal more difficult in having a moral society as the vestigial tail of morality fades from the culture’s consciousness.
In short, don’t take the OP so personally. It’s not aimed at the individual.
