Nobody is going to remove a dead person's name from the voter roll who lives alone, with no family.
Is it even really a big priority for people with close loving families?
Whoever thinks when someone passes, “hey, we better make sure and get Mama off the voting rolls”?

Let me guess the majority is in swing districts.

When someone dies the health department receives the death certificate. They then distribute as follows.....
State Office of Vital Statistics/Vital Records: To establish the official, permanent state record.
The Social Security Administration (SSA): To stop benefits, avoid overpayments, and prevent identity theft.
The Census Bureau and/or National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS): For population research, statistical data, and tracking mortality trends.
Local Electoral Office/Registrar of Voters: To remove the deceased from the voter registration list.
Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV): To cancel driver's licenses and prevent identity fraud.
Tax Authorities: State tax agencies and the IRS to update records and address estate taxes.
For goodness sake people dont just die and rot in an apartment somewhere, regardless of whether they have next of kin. Unless they are somalian, they can probably continue to collect benefits

Only morons or political neophytes don't understand that every state has huge populations of people who are no longer eligible to vote still on voter rolls. People trying to do the CT "another conspiracy proven true" are just exposing themselves further.
This isn't the smoking gun or big reveal many ITT think it is.

And all of them Democrat votes, too.
Kinda like in election 2020 when all those states like Pennsylvania, Arizona, etc. went into the night with Trump leading and by morning every state had Joe Biden winning. Democrats and MSM nothing to see here move along.

I'm not making excuses for this but I have always wondered, okay, someone from NC (or any state) dies. How does NC or LA or TX or any state - or at least the "voter roll" department find out about it? Unless someone calls up and says "you cancel John Smith from your list, he died last week" he or she will stay on the rolls until it's time to re-register in a few years. Doesn't this just mean that 34,000 people in NC who were registered died and no one reported it (who would think of doing that?) they will stay on the rolls for a few years until their voters registration naturally expires. I bet this is true in almost all states but of course I am no expert.
This may have held water in the pre-digital age. No excuse for it now.
(The next scam will be 1000s of registered Republicans will be erroneously removed from voter rolls as dead)

Maybe those deaths that get registered as happening by funeral homes, morgues and put into a data base would be checked off immediately against voter rolls, SSI payments and so on. Death is an infrequent occurrence as millions upon millions die yearly. Maybe we would not need DOGE to inform us of 150 years old people getting SSI or EIC

It’s an easy problem to fix, yet they won’t fix it and we all know why.
Posted on 4/29/26 at 6:48 am to L.A.
That's really not a lot of people in terms of dead people on the rolls. The alarming comment is needless gratuitous hyperbole so as to reinforce victimization syndrome in many MAGA types.

There is no good reason to have tens of thousands of dead people sitting on voter rolls in a state that gets death certificates issued in under a month. You can drone on forever about how common this might be, but it doesn’t make it right nor immune from abuse.

This was the literal purpose of ERIC until a bunch of MAGA states did the retard conspiracy move and withdrew from it.

It may not be a “smoking gun or big reveal”.
Unless they now look at the records and see if votes were recorded from that person after they died.
Which could explain why 16 states aren’t wanting to release records.

Which has been done for some time now, including back to the JFK-Nixon election

Maybe their widows or widowers, but when money is involved, the federal government is all over that generally.

That’s the questions to find out that would seal the need for voter ID requirements…did any of those 34,000 vote? How did they vote? And who did they vote for?
Answer those questions and I’m sure there would be an even more solid case to the American people of how important secure elections should be our top priority.
