I can only read people’s words that they post. Asking a clarifying statement is being “contrarian” or “cute”? Damn, I don’t know what you do for a living, but I’d hate working with or for you. People are just supposed to know what you mean even when you expressly write something that is unclear.
His statement implied (actually, no, it expressly stated) that some life came from life (whatever that means), and that God created all OTHER life. Other life. Other is a word. It has a meaning.

God was the living being that was the source for all life, rather than non-living and mechanical processes creating life.

I have seen a lot of pictures of things I had already seen before, if not the exact picture something similar. Grey or white dots on a grey screen or black shapes on a grey screen.
