I don't understand who would be upset about this. Did people not read anything about his performances before buying tickets?

I was pretty pissed off when I went to the Rage For the Machine concert, and they wouldn't shut up about deregulation and pizzagate.

This is reminiscent of the irate Crosby Stills Nash & Young fans a few years ago who were 'subjected' to "leftist rhetoric" in their concert performances:
"Let's Impeach the President" NSFW
When I heard about this, I thought, WTF did you expect? Go to a concert by a bunch of 60s era anti-war, anti-government radicals and then be offended when they sing an anti-war, anti-government song?
Snowflakes. Snowflakes everywhere.

JFC. His music is political.

Waters has always been a shithead and always will be a shithead.

That's great stuff. DSOTM is like permanently ingrained in my brain. Especially the first side.
That's just mind boggling.

My only issues with the political messaging have to do with it being bad art. The show was amazing, both in terms of visual effects and sound quality, but in the zeal to be anti-Trump, they went so over-the-top as to be laughable. In fact, I was laughing out loud through at least a couple of songs as Trump's head superimposed a pig, Trump with a Klan hood, and Trump-as-Hitler pics rolled by on the screens. It was ham-fisted and infantile. Still very enjoyable but I went from enjoying the show on the level at which I think was intended to just laughing at it. Still an incredible show, though.

Indeed. This is why I did not go to this concert. I knew it would be an Anti-Trump shitshow, and that's not something I want to experience. I love PF's music, but I have always recognized it as communist garbage.

While obviously annoying, this should've been clearly anticipated
Yep! Saw Dan Rather interview Waters on AXS TV "Big Interview ", Waters is supposed to be again the collective globalist movement but he dislikes Trump?

I was at the show and it was not that bad. Of course, I knew what I was getting into.
the music was awesome, the imagery was cool and I had a great time.

Waters wrote or co-wrote the vast majority of Pink Floyd's songs when they were popular in the 70s, even most of the ones that were sung by Gilmour. Albums like Dark Side of The Moon, Animals, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall are pretty much inconceivable without Waters. To say Gilmour carried Waters is lunacy
You are the looney......Gilmour sang the songs, played the beautiful guitar parts ect............. Rog played Bass, all 4 strings. that's right all 4 strings. Gilmour is/was Floyd. Waters hasn't done anything worth a crap post Floyd. FACT.

At least we have Nuge and Kid Rock to tip the scales the other way. OP is a beautiful, unique snowflake.

the show was great show and the music was amazing. If you got the but hurt at the a Roger Waters show about his political views you should have never bought a ticket. It's like going to a Ted Nugent or Hank Williams Jr show in the last 8 years and being mad when the go on an anti-obama rant. To Roger's credit he didn't ramble against trump it was just video images .
