The police had a car blocking bourbon at canal. The guy jumped the curb and drove mostly on the sidewalk but still had to push the police car to actually get on Bourbon.

DEI lady showed us that they would use 4 on each street with two butting up to the sidewalk on each side……had they used them yesterday……

Right I get there was a police cruiser he pushed to the side to get around....but if the normal barriers that prevent cars from getting down the street were being replaced on New Years Eve....why not park 5 cruisers in front of Bourbon? Its clear one was not enough

I said yesterday that NOPD or the city had to have a laydown yard full of barricades somewhere. They all do.
Didn't you guys have a lot full of school buses that Nagin refused to use for evacuations? I think I remember something like that from Katrina, but I'm not sure.
