On the other side, the officer deserved the right to protect himself and others. Which he did. And which resulted in the death of a criminal doing criminal things.

In an attempt stop a government action, she and her buddies are stalking federal employees and using their vehicles to try and stop those federal employees from doing their jobs. The goal had always been to use force and intimidation to scare those federal employees away.
It's definitely domestic terrorism.
Honestly, a lot of this shite would stop if fed government started putting domestic charges on anyone who tries to hinder Ice. .. and then just toss them in prison indefinitely ala j6ers. Difference, of course, being the j6ers weren't domestic terrorists. These people actually are.
