This is what's going to happen no matter who ultatimely gets the job. Bills of substance will get compromised and crossover folks will get them through.
The goofballs will push for tons of what will ultimatley be fruitless investigations (maybe they'll unleash the kraken finally?). Any silly culture war bill they pass (and they'll try tons) will be DOA at the senate.
I don't think they have an end game, or have thought through any of this. It'll get worse for Rs before it gets better.

Though I'm on record as dismissing the entire DC "political reality" as bullsh*t Performance Art and pre-orchestrated scripts, there is still always a chance that "scripts" and "roles" are foiled.

I don’t know why any actual conservative is upset. Two weeks of this changes nothing. Nothing was gonna get done in the first 10 days.
