No private individual should have the power to determine US foreign policy- Reich

The Guardian, because they love the little dictator
Because NO one, even the Chinese who are desperately trying to deploy their own version, can compete with SpaceX's system.
And Reichie... Don't... Leikie
You'll recall, Starlink was being used for things it wasn't supposed to be used for. Ukraine and their leader, the mighty midget (something Reich knows quite a bit about) were strapping them on drones then taking out military targets, soldiers, etc.
So Musk started throttling them (I wish he would have done something more drastic).
First, the little (Ukrainian) midget spoke out. "How dare you"... sorry wrong midget again. But Ukraine did bitch, saying their new style of military warfare required starlink, to save their citizens.
But as poster trinidadtiger pointed out...
That didn't stop democrats (and some RINO's) from balking though. Nationalize it. Stop it, no one individual should have this much power...
SpaceX has been creating a military version of Starlink called Starshield. And I believe Ukraine has been moved to it, where it is under control of the US government.
Roberto Reich does not like him having all of this power. He wants the government to take control, nationalize this. And all of the liberals said Amen.
quote:
He’s Exhibit A on why billionaire wealth should be taxed, why we must get big money out of politics, why billionaires shouldn’t be allowed to buy up major media, and why our government shouldn’t give them huge military contracts.
I’m talking about Elon Musk, of course.
quote:
This month, Musk slowed “the speeds at which Ukrainian hardware could stay connected to the satellite-based network … rendering some offensive drones and interceptor drones virtually useless”.
According to the Journal, “Musk and Trump discussed the Starlink decision in a call soon after the slowdown became public.”
Who gave Musk authority to slow his satellite service in the first place? Musk finally admitted this weekend that he had pulled the plug because, he wrote on Twitter/X: “Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people.”
So Musk can decide on his own when a foreign country working alongside the United States against a brutal dictator can have access to vital US intelligence?
Because NO one, even the Chinese who are desperately trying to deploy their own version, can compete with SpaceX's system.

Reich is a Jew. How come he did not ever, I mean EVER, criticize Mark Zuckerberg about his wealth and power? Reich is too damned obvious here!!

Dwarf commies don't like the success of free enterprise because it makes them look like the failures they are.

In other words, would Reich be saying anything about Musk if Musk were jewish? I think not.
Is Reich an anti-Muskite?

Politicians do not like it when a person has power. Yet our US Constitution requires politicians to serve the people.
Go figger!!
Go figger!!

The lefties want to destroy Musk as a warning to all the other rich folks to never, under any circumstance, help fund the Republican agenda. If they need to imprison him, seize all his assets, shut down his companies or murder him in the street thats what they'll do and anyone voting for Dems is gonna be responsible

Not if you believe Starlink should be seized by the government.

Remind me, what's it called when the state seizes the means of production? It's on the tip of my tongue and I just can't seem to recall...

But liberals would call it 'saving democracy'.
