Beshear is not a moderate in any way. Only thing saving him is Kentucky has super majorities in the house and senate. Otherwise he’d be passing every single bill that Biden told him to.

We’ll see if this carries any weight:

He finally did a "tele-rally" for Cameron last night. Beshear has been running ads with "Trump voters" voting for him so Trump needed to do something to counter that. I know he's been busy with political show trials but he didn't even make any posts on Truth, I don't believe, about the importance of voting for Cameron.

My in-laws are from Lexington, and live in the same are where the Beahear family has lived for years. They believe Beshear is as swampy as they come - he goes in whatever direction the wind blows and tells the people what they want to hear.

They all believe he would be as liberal as they come if he becomes a Senator, because he is a swamp creature who will do whatever the Democrat establishment wants him to do.

Correct. As bearcat said earlier, he benefits from having Republican supermajorities in the legislature so he can appear moderate. But every now and then he lets the mask slip - such as the items burger and I have posted earlier.

Beshear is a slimy liberal.

Went to my precinct this morning (80R-20D), and of course all the machines crashed, right around 730-8AM as people are going to work, and the line is out the door.
This may be just an isolated thing, but anymore, I don't trust any of it.

could not even hold in-person Easter Services. You know, the most important Christian holiday.

That would be Christmas. Presents > Candy!

Mine had issues as well. I stood in line for 20 minutes, which is the longest I have ever waited to vote. Fine, though, I can handle a wait. When I checked in the voting receipt they print out stopped printing halfway through. They tried to check me back in so they could print my voter form and they couldn't because I had already been checked in and it thought I had voted. It was nice to know that worked though.

It took them 10 more minutes to get the issue fixed so I could vote. As I was waiting for my form to print the same thing happened to another person. The election workers also said that many of their machines weren't working to check people in.

ETA: I live in Frankfort, which will go for Beshear, so I don't think it's anything nefarious is going on.

You're voting for a guy who unilaterally tried to implement a mask mandate for 2 year olds in daycares, until a federal judge shot it down and called it tyrannical.

And also had police record the license plates of people who attended Easter Sunday services.

I’m fine with (R)Daniel Cameron, but we don’t really NEED a different governor than the one we have. (D)Andy B is the only likable D alive today; a lot of republicans here like him. Better than the goon 4 years ago that lost to Andy.

Daniel can be a very good governor, no doubt; but I believe that Andy could , if reelected, inevitably end up in DC, and HOPEFULLY bring the D’s back towards the middle.

This is the same lazy mind rot that got JBE elected twice in Louisiana.

"Well he's a decent man. Good Christian man. Really likeable. And he's really a moderate Dem so we don't need a Republican. He won't be all that different."

I find these ads absolutely hilarious. KY Dems are just about like any other. They loathe Trump with a passion. You know it has to eat at them to watch Beshear cling to Trump's coattails.

I didn't think Cameron had mutch of a shot, but the latest polls show them in a statistical tie.

We'll see who shows-up at the polls.

Given his appeal to ridicule when someone responded to his chest thumping about policy with an actual shite policy, he probably knows how far left Beshear is, he just doesn't want to admit that he likes that about him.

Next will be the "I'm a moderate, I'm only considered a lefty here by the insane far right" line.

One poll had Cameron ahead, saw it yesterday. All about turnout.

I’ll vote when I get off work. I think Beshear pulls it out narrowly, but Cameron could pull it off comfortably. Beshear is counting on West Kentucky and the tornado relief efforts.

I was just looking at the early voting numbers and it was ~260,000, which was slightly more than 2022. However, absentee voting is down by 30,000ish from 2022.

Anderson County has seen ~20% voting early - that county went heavy for Bevin in 2019 (56.1% - 41.5%). Fayette is ~9% and Louisville is ~ 8%. That seems good for Cameron.

ETA: Here is the link for that info. LINK

Hearing Beshear did not like his chances after the Friday early voting turn out in Jefferson County.

8% is not good. He has to clean up in Jefferson and Fayette to win. He won't win enough in the GOP counties to make up bad turnout in those two counties.
