The sad thing is these same courts would be glad to throw the family under the jail if they took justice into their own hands.

One judge doesn't allow the illegal alien criminal to plead guilty, and another refuses to allow an innocent, railroaded Flynn to plead not guilty after exonerating evidence was withheld and the prosecutor dropped the case. Leftists sure know how to choose judges that destroy respect and confidence in the judicial system. One would think they are actively working to ruin this country.

IIRC the parents were complete Cucks. They said something to the fact that, “Kate would have never wanted this poor man to be incarcerated and did not want to be her to be a political statement.”

As COMPLETELY hypothetical example (the simplest possible, for purposes of illustration), he might have been entirely competent in 2015, but suffered a major head injury in 2019 which left him with the cognition of a toddler and thus without the capacity to voluntarily plead guilty.
As to this case, they seem to be asserting that he suffers from some mental illness which renders him incompetent for purposes of entering a guilty plea.
This is not a question of Left versus Right. It is a question of legal competence. We simply do not allow (for example) minors, those with severe mental deficits or the insane to make certain legal decisions, and there is a process to determine whether a given individual falls into such a category. If a judge has questions regarding a defendant’s mental competence, he would not be doing his job if he did not initiate that process.

The legal system in Cali is just so skewed. I was reading an article recently about the number of interpreters the courts need to have to adjudicate cases.
Seems many illegals claim they lost their cases because they did not understand their interpreter. While Spanish in Spain may be different than that of Latin America, both can be readily understood by either party. But the court appointed interpreter who speaks Latin American, or even Mexican Spanish is not enough. The local dialects of specific regions within Mexico are so different that the poor defendant cant understand plain Mexican Spanish.
Now throw in the dialect of north central Mogadishu, south of Houston Street, and oh well since we dont have an interpreter for that we must dismiss the case.
Cali is a different world.

That is why such an enterprise should be planned objectively and free of all emotion.
That and watch a few seasons of CSI. It would not be hard at all.
ETA: just saw Hank in the house and wanted to say: yes Hank I know it would be illegal and thus a chargeable offense. If she was my daughter, I would not care.
