What is your call on this? Is it a ruse by Kim to get the heat off of him or is this some play between China and US? Did he get some kind of immunity to all the criminal acts he or his regime has committed? Or maybe found a bloody horse head in his bed and realized the game is up?

Just don't believe the "play nice" now theory!!

Our Ambassador to North Korea & interim Sec of State Dennis Rodman just scored 50 points in the first half of play to help make this happen. I honestly think that Jung Un/Rodman's relationship actually helped facilitate this.

My guess is that North Korea has been promised an NBA franchise

The last test fricked up the underground testing facility. They can't afford to build a new one.

Maybe even predicting a catastrophe in the next 20 or so years from leaking radiation, know they won't get relief funds if they keep being counts to the world.

Best guess is he thinks the best way to sustain his oppressive regime is to stop being antagonistic to outsiders. He gets to continue to oppress the shite out of North Koreans, and the west backs off.

In all likelihood, America gets a slight victory, South Korea gets a big, but fragile victory, the NK regime gets a huge victory, and people who live in North Korea get fricked

The game is up because Trump called his bluff and China is weary and their alliance with NOKO is wearing thin. He wants to stay alive . He’s looking for a political paradigm that will help him stay alive.

The CIA was influencing all DPRK activities since the 90s. They created all the press that came out of the country and kept them isolated.

Trump just told CIA to stop it. Then made assurances to fat Kim...

They may end the war and reunify Korea.

I think he's never had someone talk to him or his family like Trump is talking to him. He's run every play in his book and this may be a new tactic. But, then again, there's like a 80% change I'm wrong.

Trump pressuring China over tariffs and other issues got China to stop propping up NK.

Trade will still be an issue with China but the amount of military spending we do in SK should go down if this goes through.

I think that this is an assassination attempt on Trump. They will meet and shake hands. Kim will have a small clear, almost undetectable piece of plastic on his palm that is laced with poison. It will absorb through Trumps skin on his palm and lead to his death.

Yes I follow the Q thread and read all that but who knows for sure what is true or not. So they basically just have to give us their nukes, sign treaty with SK and that's it, all past crimes and such are washed away? Might be worth it to stabilize the region.

During 2017, Kim flew ICBMs over Japan that are thought capable of reaching the USA and exploded his first thermonuclear bomb. He has reached a natural pause point in the progression of nuclear escalation and a new position of strength, so it makes perfect sense that he would try to make a deal.

We probably convinced his people to turn on him in the event war breaks out so then he'd be alone. He knows it and shite his pants when he found out. He'll fall from within and he knows it.

Rodman averaged 2 assists per game and in this case he just handed out three (SK, NK, & USofA)

It's not a play nice thing. Trump used the weight of the USA with China to force moves.
