I'll go with Ike. Managed to keep the World from annihilating itself while it teeter-toddered on the brink. Country enjoyed a prolonged period of prosperity, maybe the best of the century.

That wasn't because of Ike .... that was because we won the war and we had millions of Vets coming home, building houses, buying cars, starting families ... we Baby Boomers were born.

What Ike did do was let nature take its course and he warned us of the dangers of the military industrial complex, warnings we did not heed.

Tulsi alerted me to the context of that speech on Rogan and I went and listened to the whole thing. I like Reagan but Ike May have my vote.

Regarding “letting nature take its course” Clinton is the prime beneficiary of that if I’ve ever seen it.
