Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who served as ambassador to the United Nations during former President Donald Trump’s administration, will join Trump in the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

Fox News Digital confirms Haley will formally declare her candidacy for the White House at an event in Charleston, South Carolina, on Feb. 15, according to an invitation that will soon be going out to her supporters. News of Haley's announcement was first reported by the Post and Courier newspaper in South Carolina.

Political pundits have long viewed Haley as a potential GOP presidential contender, as she crisscrossed the country the past two years through her political group Stand for America, helping fellow Republicans running in the 2022 elections. Haley’s travels brought her numerous times to Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada, which hold the first, second and fourth contests in the Republican presidential nominating calendar. Haley’s home state of South Carolina votes third in the GOP primary schedule.

I’d rather have 4 more years of President Brandon than Nikki Haley. If she somehow wins the Republican nomination, I’ll vote third-party.

That campaign is dead on arrival. She's as popular with Republicans as Kamala is with Democrats.

Oh frick. Trump's going to go on a twit(I mean truth social) meltdown. He's gonna throw a tirade that he singlehandedly brought her to the forefront of the GOP and now she's not loyal to the king!

If she is the nominee I will be happy to vote for her.

Winning in 2024 and preserving or adding to SCOTUS is one of the most important things right now. If you can never get to 3/5s cloture to pass conservative legislation. Then decentralizing via 10th amendment litigation is the next best option.

It's weird because for awhile she had some conservative support. I never really got it and saw her as a career politician / opportunist.

I think the media was just pushing the narrative that she was more electable because she's a "woman of color", knowing that she's just a typical RINO.

We’d get a lot of John Roberts like appointments to the federal judiciary. Roberts is the reason Obamacare is still the law. We thought he and the other conservative justices would be a firewall, but he caved and we’re stuck with that horrible piece of legislation.

Nikki would be George W. Bush’s third term. Hard no for me.

Maybe. I think she came out of the gate not seeming like a RINO but then started cozying up to the most swampy in the GOP
