Needing a population due to birth rates below the replacement level is not the same as needing 8+ kids for farm hands

You bring up another point too. Life expectancy rates now vs when marrying young was common. People had to get married young to continue society because at 40 they were considered on the backend of life.
Life expectancy in the USA has increased by 12 years since the 50s from 68 to 80. It was just 47 in 1900

Yes.
These things no doubt contributed to the cultural change of how teen marriage is viewed.

Even the young teenage daughters were encouraged to find a successful gentleman in his late 20's to early 30's in age. The use of pronouns was non-existent during this time.
After Social Security and within one generation, the family unit "broke down" and what a wonderful "pro-noun filled" world we have now.

It doesn't seem to be a racial thing.
It seems more like when a society becomes wealthy and solves many of the problems of basic survival it becomes tuned into luxury and enjoyment.
Kids are a big drain on wealth and pleasure.

One of our root problems. We have delayed responsibility for major life contribution to late twenties and early thirties while children hit puberty earlier and earlier and become sexually active at an earlier age.
Many people aged 12-25 are living in what amounts to a giant playground.

You are assuming 16 year olds in most parts of the world are as spoiled and immature as Americans. That’s a wrong assumption for 75% of the globe.

No, but it still means we will import people from developing nations to work cheaply.
To keep wealth at the highest levels, they cannot let the economy shrink. They'll keep pumping in people to do the menial work that white people and black people believe they are above.
