I don't understand how a group that doesn't have to pay taxes is allowed to use tax money on non-citizens. Defund and tax these motherfrickers at the same time. Tax every fricking thing they have.

The US Government is the one funding the Catholic Charities. Congress passes a bill, funds are appropriated to institutions that disseminate the funds to the intended target of the funds.
This has only gone on for about 2 years and the Catholic Church does not make billions in the process.

I'm ready to revisit tax exempt status for all churches and charities.
Running a soup kitchen isn't the same as taking a few hundred million dollars of State Department grants that have been laundered through a couple of other tax exempt entities and helping foreign criminals invade our county.
Fix it or shut it all down till the charities fix themselves.
