the real reason

How about the fact that politics is no longer part of the NFL experience, and more teams were in playoff contention by the 15th and 16th games of the season. This has been a great year for football IMHO.

I watched more football this year because politics HAS been removed.

I respect the rights of the players to protest and I respect that there's consequences.

When I turn on Football, I'm not looking for politics so if you do that I'm going to turn away. I haven't been able to say that about the previous two seasons.

That being said, NFL IS BACK BABY!!! I'm just looking for some fun entertainment via sports. They delivered this year.

Removing politics as well as the decline of CFB is helping the NFL.

I'll gladly admit I watched more NFL this year than the past couple of years due to the fact I didn't have to hear about a stupid protest weekly.

CFB is going the way of WWE, NBA, and Women's college basketball. This will help the NFL even more.

More like blue collar outrage - the predominant demographic the NFL is appealing to.

Interjecting politics into sports is a bad idea no matter which side of the fence you’re on.

Besides, there is no statistical evidence to back the claims made by these very privileged players, and none of them know the statistics anyway. It’s just emotion and idiocy.

The NFL rebounded when shitshows like Kaepernick no longer had a job.

If I wiped my arse with the flag in public, I wouldn’t have a job anymore. frick that jackass and everyone else kneeling on the flag.

Patently FALSE in the NA market. They missed expectations in NA and their entire growth that beat earnings was based on international sales...which the ad did not effect in any material way.

Further, they have downgraded NA sales growth expectations AGAIN this year and it lags AGAIN this year behind competitors.

The ad has not been seen in a long time...the backlash won. Just like it won against the NFL.

NEXT.

effected the entir campaign.
It's "affected" but I'm sure you know how to spell "entire"

And it's false

But you're welcome to try and link some data that shows how NFL backlash "effected" the succesful Kaepernick ad campaign by Nike

quote:

In the first quarter of fiscal 2019, momentum had continued and sales in the region increased 6% year over year, to $4.15 billion. On the earnings call, CFO Andy Campion said it was “very strong sustainable growth in North America,” so analysts and investors are likely to be expecting a similarly strong performance this quarter.

quote:

NKE has given up some ground since it hit an all-time high of $86.04 towards the end of September, but the stock is still up 10% year to date, outperforming both the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite by a wide margin.
