So the information used to obtain the warrant is admittedly false?

two senior government officials told Newsweek

That right there is pathetic.
If you’re a senior government official who is singing to Newsweek, you ought to re-calibrate your moral and ethical compasses.
Laughable, in a pitiful way.

the OT legal staff of florida is there to explain procedures to you.

The report says the affidavit said the documents were in the safe. The safe was empty. The warrant was based upon a fraudulent affidavit. Same as with the fisa app and the steee dossier.

What’s your reaction to those facts, Otto? Let’s see if your a man of principles or just a liar.

Then why is it sealed?

BBonds and I were discussing this issue before the info in this OP came out, and I speculated that it might be sealed to protect the identity of a confidential/insider source. Barry responded that this could have been accomplished with a redaction, also, as opposed to sealing the entire affidavit.

This certainly indicates that I may have been right about the insider source, but does not address Barry's observation that this could also have been accomplished in a less-onerous manner (redaction).

Who knows?

This is all arse-covering lies. These people are idiots.

I think they screwed themselves. They said specifically the informant said the docs would be in the safe. The docs were not in the safe. Pearly the informant isn’t reliable and they still used unreliable info to get a warrant to raid a former presidents home. This statement makes it worse for them.

Not everyone on this planet jumps to conclusions immediately. They get facts and then make an informed decision on how to handle the matter

Wouldn't the Commander in Chief have the final say as to what's classified?

He insists, though, that Garland had no prior knowledge of the date and time of the specific raid, nor was he asked to approve it. "I know it's hard for people to believe," says the official, "but this was a matter for the U.S. Attorney and the FBI."

It's obvious where this is going... Muh bad source and rogue Florida US Attorney. The WH & AG were totally caught off guard

Uh huh. I'm sure an FBI informer did tell the FBI exactly what docs "Trump" was hiding and exactly where "Trump" hid them.

FBI decision-makers in Washington and Miami thought that denying the former president a photo opportunity or a platform from which to grandstand (or to attempt to thwart the raid) would lower the profile of the event, says one of the sources, a senior Justice Department official who is a 30-year veteran of the FBI.

So go in with 20 vehicles, lights on, 30 agents with guns drawn…that will keep it low key lol

Like those Fisa warrants?

They should know what they are because the jackasses are taking those very documents from WASHINGTON and planting them in the said boxes.

And if this informant is so sure of this why won't they say who it is? Another 'Whistleblower'? These stupid Dems blow on each others' whistles so much they should all be weak-kneed............

Yep. The longer they remain silent, the more obvious they are looking for a fall guy and it will be the guy who helped Epstein get away with a slap on the wrist. His reputation is already in the shitter for helping Epstein stay out of prison so it's not like this can hurt his reputation anymore.
