Teedy not being challenged. Literally the dumbest human ever to be elected to a position of power will not be challenged for re-election. How dumb is this city?

Moron getting re-elected without challenge written by utter douchebag

If you are white, you wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning because of the systemic racism of the black community.

I think I’m grateful NOLA.com won’t let me read it.

I've been wanting to book a NOLA trip with my friends from Colorado. I'm finding it harder and harder to justify taking them there with what a fricking shithole the city has become.

Starting to think we should have just abandoned it after Katrina.

RIP NOLA

Cause of death. Idiot Carpetbaggeritis.

If Destroya truly has a 70% approval rating, then seriously- NOAL deserve its fate.

In all seriousness, who would really want that job? There is likely nothing but failure on the horizon for a deeply broken city. It is on the fast track to becoming the next Detroit. The federal covid relief funds will be wasted on sustaining a bloated government structure and enabling the less productive members of society. Tourism is the only industry and that’ll return, but it is all they’ve got.

Last time I was in NOLA they had just taken down the big awesome statues. I figured it was all upward and progress from then, since they solved racism.

Trust your instinct my friend.

I don't think I would visit NOLA anymore than I would be a police officer in Minneapolis. You could easily be put in a position of having to defend yourself or die.

If you have to defend yourself, what chance do you think you would stand in front of a NOLA jury with a case presented by a Soros DA?

Go white water rafting in a red state instead.

Downtown is a literal war zone every night. Stay away if you want to make it home after your trip

I gave up all of sports and one of my most precious things in the world...my LSU Football Season Tickets...after 20 seasons last year. Despite having grown up just outside of New Orleans, I'm pretty sure I can give up visiting with no problem at all.

Thanks for making the decision to not come back and spend money an easy one, frick heads.

NOLA looking more and more like a 3rd world shithole a la Liberia or Haiti. No one cares to try and save it, lest they be called a racist.

New Orleans has been getting what it deserves for at least the last 40 years...not sure if there's much left to come.

I don't think it will come back as strong as people think. Post Katrina we had that save nola drive going. Now companies aren't looking to do big conferences because of covid, and a lot of ppl will be working from home and not going downtown. New Orleans is in serious trouble.

That city is disgusting and reeks of vomit. Even on St. Charles.
