We can all be reasonably certain that the murderer does not have a legal right to carry in the first place. So how the hell does this stop the criminals from carrying? If they were going to obey the law, they wouldn't have shot the kid in the first place.

The Governor doesn't have the legal authority to decide when or if laws are going to be followed. Trying to classify this as a "public health emergency" is nothing more than a naked attempt to abuse power.
Someone being arrested on this basis should be allowed to sue not just the government, but the Governor as well for malfeasance. A guilty finding should strip them of their office and put them in jail.
Nothing less will deter this and future attempts at over-reach.

Another thing I forgot to mention from the other thread was liability.
What happens when (naturally) more shootings/murders will take place. Shouldnt the state be liable as they are in fact limiting your own protection? Not to mention it’s unconstitutional
