JBE signed the abortion bill. The republicans thought he'd veto it and use it against him this election, but he surprised them and signed it into law.

He's one and done with this election. The 2024 gubernatorial campaigns of Nungesser, Kennedy, and Landry begin in earnest this sunday.

Nah. That was true a few weeks ago, but they're over it enough because they don't like JBE even more than they didn't like Rispone's poorly timed ads.

54% can’t read a bureau of labor statistics chart, apparently. He’s been objectively terrible. Lot of 85-90IQs voting JBE.

Going to depend on turnout. If black turnout is as heavy as it was in early voting, it's gonna be hard for Rispone to pull it out.

I have had 2 telephone survey calls tonight about the governor’s race. It’s obviously very close in the internal polling. The last call was clearly a JBE firm. Asked if i had seen ads calling Rispone “phony” and if I had seen ads of Dr. Abraham criticizing Rispone for “how he was running his campaign”.

Wrong. Many Abraham voters will either vote JBE or not at all. Rispone's smear campaign against Dr Abraham cemented that.

I really don't think that's true. That's like saying that tons of Ted Cruz supporters voted for Hillary.

I mean, the poll asked that specific question and 10% of Abraham voters said they were voting for JBE this time.

A few people might say that, but I bet that when they get into the voting booth they'd have a hard time actually doing that.

This is also where Trump / Abraham / Rispone on stage together likely helps bigly.

To our Louisiana brethren here, I say two things:

1) Congratulations on a solid win. I think LSU will be the last one standing this year.

2) See below.

How the frick do 54% of Louisianans approve of his job performance? That can't be anywhere near right... and if it is, you're doomed
