Damning New H1-B Data: Up to 90 Percent of Apps Fraudulent - Most H1-Bs Were Lower Level, Not High Skilled
A massive education fraud ring in India has been exposed for selling counterfeit university degrees that enabled unskilled workers to score well-paying, mid-level technical jobs in the United States by abusing the H-1B program.
“Investigators have seized nearly 100,000 fake degree certificates and forged academic documents linked to at least 28 universities across India,” according to the American Bazaar.

local gas station is bought by Indian and suddenly his whole family is here working as cashier under h1b
but the same shite is happening on a crazy scale in the dallas area in the tech industry. Goldennugget has talked about this and how it affected him. frisco is absolutely crazy right now

There are 750K active H1B workers and 73% of them are Indian, if I recall correctly
I know India has over a billion people to choose from, but they can't all be that much more qualified than Americans. It's bullshite

yep, it was meant to bring over the best and brightest from other countries but thats not what it is being used for. these fricks buy a small business and use it to bring them over no matter how little the job pays. they get to be a manager and they only hire other indians etc
an easy fix is that all H1B visa must make triple the prevailing wage for that exact job
or set a minimum wage for h1b at somehting like 400k per year
or set the federal tax rate on h1b at double what it currently is.

Then they either put these Indians through a boot camp style course to memorize basic level knowledge of a tech stack that will be just enough to be able to fool an interviewer, OR they perform ghost interviews where a stand in does the interview on behalf of the Indian
Either way it fools these C-Suite types who don't know anything about how technical work operates. Combine that with the stereotype pushed on Americans that all Indians are automatically super geniuses because they win spelling bees, and you have a recipe for replacement

I briefly dated an Indian who was an HR Director here is a direct quote from her "All the smart Indians are already here and have been here for decades the recent H1B Indians are not smart and lie on everything from resumes to education to job experience etc"
