How feminine do you have to be to like it?
Since it's a commercial for razor blades it's entirely possible to be neutral about it
Getting triggered over a commercial that isn't in any way offensive is the definition of being insecure

Men make that OS decision, not the women, for shaving.
Sure, and I would guess that most of those decisions have already been made.
Switching costs are pretty low for shaving. That decision hasn't already been made for next month.

Maybe. I think it will be something else tomorrow. This outrage culture lives on intense outrage that dies down.
Again, disagree: it was the collective nature of guilt that was underlying Gillette's message. That was really stupid and will hurt them. You don't see that too often from any company in any marketing campaign.

Typically, you are probably right. That being said, Gillette isn't just razors.
I have a particular deodarant of theirs that I have used for awhile now. My gesture to show my displeasure with what I perceive to be their overreach will be to look for a replacement product from a rival company. Once I shift over to a new product, it is highly unlikely that the business they lost will ever return. I doubt that I am the only one that will do this. These type of products seem to have strong customer loyalty. I think that this was a poor move by them.
Just my .02.

I can’t see their twitter, but whomever posted their initial replies to people should throw some more up. Whomever is running their social media is oblivious to what’s going on.

So the males at the end of the commercials who broke up the fights where also painted with that broad brush?
Yeah, they said some me are already doing better, and they really emphasized that word. Not the overwhelming majority, some.

John Della Volpe (Director of Polling at Harvard Kennedy School) and no conservative by any means seems to agree with some of us.
Trainwreck campaign by a team of out-of-touch idiots.

Damn. A company who likely had thousands and thousands of good men who put them where they are takes a flame thrower to their customers in an effort to appear cool to who? Politically correct women who don't buy your stuff and maybe 10% of the ones who do. Making the other 90% laugh and roll their eyes. Some older guy must have died or retired and left the co to their gay son or lesbian daughter.

Proctor and Gamble has prospered off disposable diapers, cramming landfills full of them and they want to challenge me to do better?
Mr Proctor and Mr Gamble, you can go screw yourself.
I did not watch the ad, but I am outraged anyway.

Gillette’s brand director’s name is Pankaj Bhalla.
I’m sure he really resonates with the average American male.

Full on viral negative backlash against Gillette in progress.
