That is a documented fact. Pelosi and the mayor did turn it down. It would have really screwed up their "insurrection".

The speaker of the house is in control of security for the members and the grounds. Pretty sure I heard her admit she has responsibility. Yet… All the spotlight was put on Trump, who actually did offer National Guard support. Nancy and the mayor of DC both turned it down. She’s either massively incompetent, drunk out of her mind, or doesn’t remember, or she’s lying.
