Anyone who just believes mainstream media news outlets is either really naive or captured. How many times do they have to be proven false before you raise an eyebrow? The reality is that all of our government IT systems were basically in the stone age. SpaceX would actually have to fax in information and then wait for a fax to permit their work sometimes weeks later. The US government was still using mail service to send documents around to each other. Yes, Palantir started working for the military, and now they are working on our communication systems because as I stated before we were in the stone age. This doesn't mean they are spying on individual Americans. Have you even done basic research to understand what the company is about and why it was founded? You think Peter Thiel (a libertarian) would be ok with his company being used to spy on individual Americans?

It could be worse. A few years ago Germany allowed the publication of Hitler's Mein Kampf. But after each page of the original there are several pages explaining why it's bad. It certainly stopped people from buying it.

This is very similar to people bagging on Musk and accusing him for being a welfare recipient basically because he has government contracts. He has done things that NASA could only dream about with a fraction of what NASA was spending. He took government money with Tesla back in the day and paid it off early with interest, but the facts don't seem to matter with leftists. The Build Back Better Bill spent many billions on broadband internet service access to supposedly make service more affordable. They didn't use Musks Star link because they were upset with Musk, but instead spent all that money on bogus companies (42 billion) and hooked up exactly zero people. Meanwhile you can get Star Link access in the middle of the Amazon Rain Forrest. Yes, Palantir is an unbelievable Software company, and they can do wonders with data. This doesn't mean they want to go around spying on people and becoming a communist like control state. If you are really worried about that kind of thing, you should look at the left because that is actually their dream....
