That's because Zyklon Ben has no actual nuance. That's what's needed for political humor. He has to lay out the joke for the viewer. Now the question is, does that say more about him, or his audience?

Don't know. He did get his MFA from Yale though. Whatever you think of Obama, I think the painting is really well done.

Like a lot of his other stuff, this seems like something a 6th grader wins a poster contest with.
I'm glad to have some national pens that speak up for the right side of the spectrum, but I really don't put much into his work. (And neither does he, it seems.)
Don't get me wrong. The left has these, too. I just think this guy can sometimes be pretty amateurish.

The artist is a freak radical that draws sperm and lobs off white peoples heads in his paintings.
If President Trump chose an artist that lobbed off black, brown, green people's heads in his art work, as well as drew sperm-- there would be outrage and you know it.
The painting is fugly, JJ would have been a better artist, no?
