The question is will we identify what happened and do what is necessary to give us the best chance of winning in the next election (2024) and beyond.

Unfortunately, I don't have faith that we'll be able to do it. The answers, and there are more than one, are simple if we just looked at the data in an objective way, but I'm not sure the majority of the base will realize what we need to do.

I don’t see a path forward for the Republican Party as we know it. Major changes will have to take place before they can ever dream of controlling the Presidency and congress at once.

A starting point would probably be nominating the guy who had a historic win in Florida.

Irrelevant. Enough swing states have totally fricked their election laws so that there is no longer an electoral pathway for any Republican president. Just the reality that everyone needs to understand.

Then that means abandoning policies consistent with individual liberty and limited government. There is no ballot box solution for people who just want to be left alone to live their lives and raise a family.

The GOP has turned Florida and Ohio bright red for the moment and Hispanics are nowhere near the monolithic voting block the GOP feared. The Dems will be running a 82 year old in 2024 with a very unfavorable senate map.

The path forward is to stop expecting people who believe elections in America are stolen to go out and win elections in America.

Unfortunately, demons are miles ahead of us…sad days in our country. Days of Noah seem to be here again.

Wake the frick up. Unless that person is a boot licking RINO, they will get the same treatment as Trump.

So either DeSantis is a RINO or he isn’t?

Because this midterm result was brought to you by Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham frickery.
If you are laying this at the feet of Donald Trump, you are beyond lost.

That’s on the same level as saying Trump actually planned January 6th.

Dems, MSM, and GOPe will blame it on Trump.

That will split the Republican base between Trump (America First) and DeSantis (GOPe).

Republicans will fight each other the next 2 years rather than focus on the real reason they lost in 2020 and 2022: mass mail in ballots.

Dems will increase their control in Congress and win the White House in 2024 and Republicans will still be arguing over Trump.

Republican base would rather slap fight over Trump than acknowledge that they got out played by Dems 2 cycles in a row now. MSM will go along with it because it distracts people from the disastrous policies of the Dems and it gets clicks.

If we want to fix things it goes in this order:
1. Mail in ballots
2. Trump vs DeSantis

Without solving for 1 the 2nd is irrelevant.

All I know is if we don’t fix the mail in ballot problem in swing states by 2024 then it won’t matter who runs. We all know 70% of EV’s are set in stone already for 2024. There are a handful of states (6-7) that determine the election. In all of them we have big time issues with mail-in voting and drop boxes. GOP will never win a national election unless we clean this up and restore election integrity.

It's over. We will see two new states soon, court packing, national election "integrity" laws, and national gun registry soon.

40 years from now everyone will be claiming the GOP needs to move on from Trump while Mexico's GDP is kicking our arse.

Been a good run.

either that or get more people to pay attention to your issues and candidates.

some teeny towns in northern New England show up at 1201 and they all vote.

in most places its not 100%.
half the people vote.

why are they not moved ny your ideas?

they have allowed 5 million people to come into our country in the last 2 years. expect 5 million more before the next election. many will be on the election voter rolls. the country as we knew it has changed forever. for the worse. texas runs a pretty clean system but it doesn't matter with the rest of the country so messed up. that's the way mitch and mitt wanted it.

All of this.

Make voting more transparent so everyone can see your vote. Dead people shouldn’t be voting. It’s so corrupt right now.

I don't know why the Trump vs Ron vs Whoever else people can't seem to grasp this concept.

I had hoped 2020 was a one-off because of the left's psycho obsession with Trump, but now it's ovvious this is the blueprint in perpetuity for the future.

that idea is just a story to scare people. you can't register as an illegal.
no one does. out of 10 million you listed, how many illegals will vote?
2?
come on man.
as long as you push fake Nativist narratives you can't address the real stuff.
why isn't it a felony for meat packing companies to hire illegals?

do yourself a favor and look into it. report back with numbers.

how many illegals registered?

how many white Republican men voted for the dead wife or mother in the 2020? this one is bigger than you'd think.

Ballot Harvesting should be illegal in all 50 states.

Isn’t it amazing after DeSantis ended it that blue areas of Florida suddenly weren’t blue?

Shocking. Not really. You stop someone from pushing out mail-in votes in mass and having other people fill them out and stuff boxes. They did it in 2020. Why else do you think in Arizona someone illegally deleted the computer files AFTER a judge ordered them turned over? Because they would have been caught.
