I feel like this and the Axios report about Trump are some type of PR/damage control.

Even if that Axios report that Trump humiliated him was fan fiction, I love that it's the narrative now and that it drove people like Levin crazy.

If you remember, pre-Midnight Hammer, they used media leaks of Trump being frustrated with Netanyahu as a sort of cover just before the mission.
I'm not saying that is this, just that the pattern is similar

I can't say that I don't like this take. I'm all for letting Israel fend for themselves without feeling obligated to step in every time they're involved in some kerfuffle or the other.
It'd be even more appreciated if we reeled in our lines and quit sending foreign aid to seemingly every other country in the world. Other nations have the right of sovereignty and American citizens ought not be responsible for the economic well-being of other nations. We have enough issues to deal with here.
