OP forgot ACA remains the law of the land
quote:
A record number of people signed up for ObamaCare in the first few days of open enrollment this year compared to the same period in previous years, several sources close to the process told The Hill. The surge in sign-ups, which was confirmed by an administration official, comes despite fears from Democrats that enrollment would fall off due to the Trump administration's cutbacks in outreach and advertising. On the first day of enrollment alone, Nov. 1, one source close to the process told The Hill that more than 200,000 people selected a plan for 2018, compared with about 100,000 last year. More than 1 million people visited healthcare.gov that day, compared to about 750,000 last year, the source said.
And a very popular law at that.

And where's your substance? I bet you were in favor of net neutrality until you found out Trump appointed an anti-NN Chairman of the FCC.
It's sad when people can't think on their own....

You guys know the FCC guy is an Obama appointee, right?
Like, I know he wasn't chair but Obama made him commissioner.
Apparently NN wasn't a big deal to Obama to protect...

At the request of McConnell.
Because, as has been tradition, presidents have kept some conservatives and some liberals on the commission. A Republican and Democrat left and he appointed one of each in Ajit Pai and Jessica Rosenworcel. Trump elevated Ajit to FCC commissioner.
Though none of that makes him any less of a corporate crony.

So you want NN to stay in place so that the government can keep companies from making more money?
Sounds socialist to me.

Jesus, that word has been so abused and misused by people that some of you all clearly have just came up with completely new and batshit meanings for it.

No stupid. Net neutrality is the open internet unless you now want to buy the porn package to catch a beat.
Internet should be treated as a utility. You damn near need it to survive and function in today's society.

We want NN to stay in place so some companies (ISPs) can't prevent other companies (essentially every single other company in the world) from making more money.
