Reminds me... one of my buddies from north Alabama, who grew up pretty country. He and his brother had a good Southern, conservative, Christian, middle-class upbringing... Dad worked at a nearby factory his whole career. He and his little brother were tough kids, athletic... both very smart and advanced students in school.
His little brother gets a scholarship to Appalachian State... pursues some sort of liberal arts degree, meets some leftist chick, got his dick wet and fell in love with her... and went off the fricking deep end leftist liberal... Like, full on antifa and got really angry, cut ties with his family etc. It was sad to see and surprising, given how he was raised. The higher ed indoctrination machine and leftist pussy ruined him..
