How could one get three separate murder convictions on the same death?
Each crime/charge is decided separately by the jury. He can be convicted on all three if the jury decides that his behavior fits the definition for each charge.

Still seems like double jeopardy if you get convicted and sentenced multiple times for the same act.
I can accept him getting the top murder sentence and being sentenced accordingly. Getting three separate murder convictions on the same murder and sentenced to the combined sentences of all three (concurrent) is fricking horseshite.

He will not be sentenced multiple times if convicted on all three charges. His sentence would be served concurrently i assume. He would serve the time under whichever of the charges has the longest min. sentence.
I think you mean that it should not be consecutive sentences (one after the other) which it will not be.

He don’t serve a day. He’ll either get off on appeal or kill himself. He would have the most brutal time in prison of any inmate.

Agreed. If he's convicted, he's a definite suicide risk. I know I would be in his shoes. No way I'm spending 20 years inside as an ex-cop, without even considering this case in particular.

How would they feed info to BBC from inside the jury room?
