And I'm sure only about 10% of them will even vote

I don’t even want NY democrats. They were content with Deblasio, Adams, Schumer, AOC, Hillary and the rest. And they will carry those same policies to the next city. The communist did not just show up overnight. He is a by product of what they have supported. No thanks. Stay in city you helped frick up.

Run for the hills…

If I was Jewish, I would’ve already left.

No doubt people will leave, but I think the most immediate impact will be the retirement or transfer of hundreds of not thousands of police.

If it goes code red with lack of police, along with opening up rikers and hands off on crime, then it's going to get real ugly, real quick.

You always hear comparable threats when a controversial outlier wins. 500, 000 were going to leave with David Dinkins in 1990.

He'll win.....and he'll crash and burn like Dinkins. Mamdani is only possible because he had no reliably viable competitors. Cuomo damaged goods , Adams, damaged goods. Sliwa runs every year ....just to get beat

And Florida (but I know better)

I guess you've never watched a Marlins game against the Mets or the Yankees where it seems like the NY team is the home team. South Florida has been called NYC's "6th Burrough" since the 60's.

NYC lost people during covid. So while I think moving is usually harder than it sounds people will do it. But the city gained back the loss and then some. The biggest challenge to nyc is demand far exceeds supply.

Sir: our property tax rolls have plummeted

Mamdini… raise taxes on the rich…

Sir… there’s not enough anymore..

Mamdani..

Ok.. raise taxes on the middle class.

Mayor, you said you would raise taxes only on the top earners

Mamdani… that’s what you are now…

New Yorkers…. oh shite….

Mandami will need a money making machine to make up for the lost tax base. Isn't socialism great?

It's bad enough they'll still vote for Ds, but we'll also have to hear them "Can you put the Yanks (or insert Bills, Giants, Jets, Mets other crappy NY team here) on", or "the pizza isn't as good as in NY" and "you'd never see that in New York". All done in a crappy accent

This is the crazy thing here. This pollster isn’t awful. Not the best. But not the worst.

I think they’re expecting turnout to hit almost two million. Mamdani probably gets close to half.

So almost everyone who’s planning to vote against him is ready to move? Questionable.
