JUST IN: FBI's top lawyer, Dana Boente, has been asked to resign, and 2 sources familiar with the decision to dismiss him say it came from high levels of the Justice Dept. rather than directly from FBI Director Wray.

Which likely means Wray was aware of it and covering it up.

Article says that Wray and Boente worked together to block release of exculpatory evidence that would have cleared Flynn. Btw, the article is not exactly a ringing endorsement of him being pushed out, but it’s NBC so what do you expect.

Wait a minute... resignations will screw up the George Floyd FBI investigation cover-up.

Not that Sara is one to assume genders, but this is within her wheelhouse.

ETA: I will leave the original post and accept my beatings with Sara, as long as I can watch hers.

NOLA connection - After US Attorney Jim Letten's resignation in 2012, Boente was made interim US Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

and that Sara thought Boente was a chick in her haste.

you don't say?

so why isn't Wray of light that is dark being 'asked to resign'

why aren't these people being indicted?

Durham's report will be full of people lacking candor. who could have saw this coming? A repeat of the IG report.

It will be realbad but the media won't report it.

Wasn't James Baker also the FBIs lead council at one time and he was recently fired as well?

The frickin FBI is all sorts of ate up. Interesting how the timing of this comes amid these riots. Don't want people paying close enough attention. They may realize that our law enforcement agencies are entirely corrupt and cannot be trusted.

I wanna know when people are gonna just say, "you know what? frick your stupid fricking laws, Mr. Federal Government." Breach of contract. Their laws are about as useful as toilet paper.
